Brad Lynch: Pastor

I became the pastor of North Albemarle in February of 2007. I received my bachelor’s degree from UNC-Wilmington, and a master’s degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I enjoy running, reading, and Clemson Tiger football. However, my greatest hobby is just spending time with my family doing things like going to yard sales and hanging out at coffee shops.

My wife Marie is an amazing woman who is a gifted writer and teacher, and also knows the lyrics to every 80’s song ever recorded. We have a three year old daughter Mabrie who loves playing in her mom’s purse, and wants to be a princess when she grows up.

Torrey Morgan: Youth and Children’s Pastor

Who: I am 31 years old (16 at heart) with no kids, but one wonderful wife Tiffany. Tiffany and I have been married since October of 2006. I accepted the call to ministry at the age of 20 and WOW what a ride! I have served as Youth Pastor in several churches and love every minute of it (for the most part).

What: Good question. I love singing, playing bass, hanging out with students, anything sports related, and lock-ins. Ok maybe not lock-ins, but the rest is true. This sounds too much like a personal add. The main thing you need to know about me is I have a heart for students. When God calls someone to ministry he usually points them in a direction. This was a direction I never questioned. I knew God was going to use me to reach students. Without God and a wonderful wife I could never do this. God has blessed me with the ability to communicate and relate to students and I love using that gift. My desire is to see students graduate from our ministry, but never graduate from their faith.

Lee Allen: Minister of Music

I was born in Asheboro, NC and grew up in the shadow of my great grandfathers’ machine shop.  I learned the value of hard work at an early age.  I graduated from UNCC with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  I worked in the capacity of manufacturing engineering until becoming Director of Sales for an engineering software company.  After an extensive stint as sales director, I joined my wife, Mary Burt and together we own and operate the real estate firm RE/MAX Town & Country here in Albemarle.

I have been in part-time (is there such a thing??) Music Ministry since 1990 and came to North Albemarle in January of 2005.  I am active in Albemarle Rotary Club, work with young people at Park Ridge Christian School in chorus, coach middle school Cross Country, serve on the Board of Directors at the Stanly County Family YMCA, and am a mentor for the Uwharrie Running Club.  My passions are God, family, running and triathlon.  I am a Boston Marathon qualifier and an Ironman finisher.

God has blessed me with my opposite, Mary Burt who is a giver and always believes in one more chance.  We have been blessed with two children Meredith (14) who is beautiful like her mother and natured like her father and Jackson (11) who looks like his dad but is a ‘hugger’ like his mom.
